Volunteer Registration Form
ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD. All policies will be strictly enforced.
Volunteers need to work at least one full shift.
Volunteers need to work at least one Saturday shift. Saturday is expected to be the busiest day. Anyone able to work on both Saturday AND either Friday or Sunday will get priority. If you have special scheduling needs, and are only able to work Friday and/or Sunday, please note this on your application.
Volunteers must wear their identification badge at all times when working their shift.
Volunteers are not permitted to bring minor children with them when working their shift.
Volunteers are not permitted to carry cameras or take photos when working their shift.
Volunteer shirts are to be worn by volunteers only when working their shift. Volunteer shirts may be kept after the event.
Volunteers need to wear appropriate clothing and footwear (not wear torn or dirty clothing or open-toed shoes). Comfortable walking shoes are best (most volunteers will be doing a lot of standing and/or walking during their shift). Volunteers are not permitted to wear costume wigs, facepaint, or masks while working their shifts.
Volunteers must act in the best interest of Escape Velocity by respecting attendees, other volunteers and staff, as well as promoting a safe and healthy environment. Please familiarize yourself with the Escape Velocity Harassment Policy.
Volunteers must refrain from any deliberate acts that may create a dangerous or unhealthy situation during the event. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of illegal drugs, consumption of alcoholic beverages and assaulting, threatening or disregarding the safety of an individual. Anyone who might be under the influence or is exhibiting dangerous or risky behavior, will be reported to security, have their access revoked, and immediately escorted off the premises.
Volunteers are not permitted to use their volunteer status to promote or conduct other business. Anyone caught violating this policy will be immediately escorted off the premises and have their access revoked.
The Green Room and VIP Lounge is Off Limits to all volunteers at all times. We have a special Volunteer Hospitality Lounge for off-duty volunteers.
